I have to leave this review because I was very disappointed.
For a long time I’ve spent solely on Brijuni (almost two months), I haven’t had one cappuccino. I was preparing for that real cappuccino for so long, and at last, I went to Neptune to have it. I was expecting at least a real cappuccino at that fancy hotel bar. But, what I got, I couldn’t even finish. The “creme” was nothing creme-like, it was a cappuccino that you get in random place on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. I understand this is not a big deal for some, but for me, it was offending.
Please Neptune barmens, please learn to deliver proper coffee 🙏🏼
Location is amazing, but the value is awful. Bathroom in the room is in desperate need of renovation. Rooms only have an extension cord for power. Everything just feels super dated and way too expensive for what you get. Also no AC, so if it’s warm or humid, you’re in for an uncomfortable night.
It's beautiful hotel, old, romantic, elegant, but the prices absolutely don't fit for the worth you get... Or I'm just not enough lady. I was disappointed. But just my opinion. Everything looks great, you will get the most beautiful pictures for social media, but I wasn't feeling like I'm fit in, it wasn't warm.
Attention to those considering bringing their own e-scooters to the island! When taking the ferry from Fazana to Brijuni, you're only told to register your scooter. However, upon checking out of the hotel, we were surprised with a €40 fee, with no prior notice or any services rendered. The island has plenty of electric cars, bicycles, and scooters available for rent. It seems they're trying to discourage guests from bringing their own e-scooters to profit from rentals. Not being informed about this fee feels quite deceptive.
